There was no surprise in Medellin where 7th rankedMotilones (2-5) were defeated by fifth ranked Paisas (4-3) 91-86 on Friday. American guard Davion Bailey (193, college: UIW) stepped up and scored 28 points for the winners and the former international forward Andres Millan (198-2001) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds. Four Paisas players scored in double figures. Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Loser Motilones keep the seventh position with five games lost.
