Regular Season Round 7: Paisas - Motilones 81-78

The most exciting game of round 6 in the LBP took place in Medellin. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 7th rankedMotilones (2-6) to third ranked Paisas (5-3) 81-78 on Saturday evening. It was a good game for American guard Davion Bailey (193, college: UIW) who led his team to a victory with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import swingman Marcus Weathers (199-1997, college: SMU) contributed with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Paisas' coach Luis Lopera used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) replied with 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the former international Soren De Luque (200-1998) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Motilones. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Motilones at the other side keep the seventh position with six games lost.
