Regular Season Round 7: Crossover - PIBA 75-36

Bottom-ranked PIBA (0-7) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to seventh ranked Crossover (2-4) 75-36. Crossover held PIBA to an opponent 18.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.2 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded PIBA 53-35 including 39 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Eddie Jr Weems (196-1997, college: Carroll, WI) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Luke Dove accounted for 22 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Crossover's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jose Perez came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Adrian Sagastume added 3 points and 12 rebounds respectively for PIBA in the defeat. Crossover maintains seventh place with 2-4 record. PIBA at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Crossover will play against higher ranked New Legends (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. PIBA will play against Pat City (#6) in Guatemala and hopes to get finally their first victory.
