Everything could happen in Ciudad de Mexico at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth rankedLibelulas and 5th ranked Toritas had identical 2-2 record. This time Libelulas used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Celaya 107-62 on Saturday night. Libelulas dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Toritas ' 34. They outrebounded Toritas 44-25 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Libelulas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by Gladiana Avila who scored that evening 27 points and 5 assists and the former international point guard Paola Beltran (164-1994) supported her with 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Libelulas players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 6 rebounds by Maria Salazar did not help to save the game for Toritas . Samantha Valerio added 13 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Libelulas have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 3-2 record. Toritas lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with three games lost.
