Another exciting game was played in Zacatecas between seventh rankedMineras and 4th placed Dragonas where host Mineras (2-4) won against Dragonas (4-2) with 16-point difference 76-60 . Mineras forced 21 Dragonas turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Alma Dominguez (163-1997) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Diana Armas (185-1993) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Mineras players scored in double figures. Paola Velazquez answered with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Zaira Aldama (178-1998) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Dragonas. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mineras moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Las Avispas. Newly promoted Dragonas keep the fourth position with two games lost.
