Undefeated leaderMieleras delivered the eighth consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Toritas (2-6) 86-57 in Celaya. Mieleras forced 19 Toritas turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for the former international Kimberly Aguilar (182-1997) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. Salvadorean Hillary Martinez (172-1997) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Mieleras players scored in double figures. At the losing side Maria Salazar responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Stephanie Lopez scored 13 points, 6 assists and 6 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mieleras (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Toritas lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with six games lost.
