There was no surprise in Parral where 8th rankedMineros (2-13) were defeated by fourth ranked Dorados (10-4) 129-117 on Friday. Dorados looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Mineros ' players. American guard Michael Smith (193-1995, college: CBU) stepped up and scored 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Jordan Loveridge (198-1993, college: Utah) chipped in 28 points and 4 assists. Alexander Johnson responded with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and American guard Troy Cracknell (193-1999, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) scored 30 points and 5 rebounds. Four Dorados and five Mineros players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Dorados . Defending champion moved-up to third place. Mineros lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost.
