LMBPF top team -Mieleras (12-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Dragonas (4-6) in Toluca 94-45 . Mieleras forced 29 Dragonas turnovers. It was a quality performance for American Veronica Preciado (174-1997, college: CMU) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Mayra Gil (174-2003) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Paola Velazquez came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds and Katia Mendoza added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Dragonas in the defeat. Dragonas' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Mieleras have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. Dragonas lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Las Avispas.
