There was an upset when higher rankedTijuana Zonkeys (6-6) lost at home to eighth ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (3-7) 80-74 on Wednesday. Obregon made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Obregon outrebounded Tijuana 36-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. American players dominated also this game. Forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and guard Keith Williams (196-1998, college: WKU) supported him with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Even 31 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by swingman Cameron Mitchell (195-1992, college: IU Southeast) did not help to save the game for Tijuana . Power forward Alex Kaye Williams (203-1993) added 10 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Obregon maintains eighth position with 3-7 record. Loser Tijuana Zonkeys keeps the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Guaymas.
