Not a big story in a game when 6th rankedOstioneros de Guaymas (7-9) lost on the road to fourth ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (10-8) 85-72 on Friday. Tijuana looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Swingman Cameron Mitchell (195-1992, college: IU Southeast) nailed 30 points (made all of his seven free throws) for the winning side and power forward Alex Kaye Williams (203-1993) accounted for 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures. Guard Andy Cleaves II (188-1996, college: CS Stanislaus) came up with 23 points and point guard Quade Green (183-1998, college: Washington) added 18 points respectively for Guaymas in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tijuana moved-up to second place. Loser Ostioneros de Guaymas keep the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Mazatlan and Obregon.
