There was an upset when higher rankedHalcones de Ciudad Obregon (11-10) was edged at home by ninth ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (7-13) 76-73 on Saturday. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by guard Khalil Iverson (196-1997, college: Wisconsin) who scored that evening 21 points and point guard Bryce Griggs (188-2003) supported him with 17 points. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by Greg Whittington (205-1993, college: Georgetown) did not help to save the game for Obregon . Forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) added 11 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Defending champion maintains ninth position with 7-13 record. Loser Halcones de Ciudad Obregon dropped to the third place with ten games lost.
