No shocking result in a game when eighth rankedTijuana Zonkeys (13-18) crushed at home bottom-ranked Frayles de Guasave (5-26) 108-77 on Friday. Tijuana dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Frayles de Guasave ' 36. They outrebounded Frayles 45-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. Tijuana looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Frayles ' players. American guard Teddy Allen (198-1998, college: NM State) notched 25 points to lead the effort and the other American import swingman Cameron Mitchell (195-1992, college: IU Southeast) supported him with 18 points. Four Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures. Even 27 points by forward Tyrone Jones (193) did not help to save the game for Frayles . American forward Brandon Porter (206, college: CPP, agency: Momentum SM) added 16 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tijuana moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Los Mochis. Frayles lost nineteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 26 lost games.
