The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedAstros (24-7) in Guadalajara on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (15-16) 100-87 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Astros. Guaymas made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Quade Green (183-1998, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The other American import guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Ostioneros de Guaymas players scored in double figures. American-Filipino guard Mikh McKinney (184-1992, college: Sacramento St.) replied with 16 points and American power forward Makhi Mitchell (206-2000, college: Arkansas) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Astros. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guaymas maintains fifth position with 15-16 record. Astros at the other side still keep top place with seven games lost.
