Not a big story in a game when 10th rankedFrayles de Guasave (5-28) was rolled over at home by third ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (22-11) 105-71 on Friday. Obregon dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Frayles de Guasave ' 36. Obregon forced 19 Frayles turnovers and outrebounded them 41-27 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Obregon looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Frayles ' players. The best player for the winners was American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import guard Tomas Nuno (196-1998, college: CMU) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's coach Dennis Cutts felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Tyrone Jones (193) who recorded 20 points and 4 assists and forward Raul Jimenez (201-2000) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 22-11 record having four points less than leader Astros. Frayles lost twenty first consecutive game. They stay dead last with 28 lost games.
