Fifth-rankedOstioneros de Guaymas (16-17) gave a tough game to third ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (22-11) on Tuesday. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon managed to secure only two-point victory 102-100 . However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ostioneros de Guaymas. Obregon shot 60.3 percent from the field and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Obregon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Greg Whittington (205-1993, college: Georgetown) who added 24 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Nigerian guard Daniel Utomi (198-1997, college: USC) scored 22 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Five Obregon and four Guaymas players scored in double figures. Ostioneros de Guaymas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 22-11 record having four points less than leader Astros. Guaymas at the other side keep the fifth place with 17 games lost.
