Guests from Ciudad Obregon (24-12) smashed host Caballeros de Culiacan (18-18) 107-84 . The other American import guard Jalen Adaway (196-1998, college: St.Bonaventure) contributed with 24 points and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Jarron Cumberland (196-1997, college: Cincinnati) replied with 24 points and Nigerian center Olisa Akonobi (213-2000, college: AAMU) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Culiacan. Five Obregon and four Culiacan players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Obregon maintains third position with 24-12 record having five points less than leader Astros. Culiacan at the other side keeps the fourth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Guaymas.
