Very expected game in San Luis Potosi where 13th rankedSantos (1-5) were defeated by seventh ranked Gambusinos (3-3) 96-90 on Friday. Gambusinos made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. Gambusinos outrebounded Santos 39-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. American point guard Kwame Vaughn (190-1990, college: CS Fullerton) scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Trinidad and Tobago center Jabari Narcis (206-1997, college: UT Arlington, agency: MSG) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Anthony Pritchard (188, college: CMU) with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import center Taylor Johns (197-1994, college: UC Riverside) scored 8 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Gambusinos and four Santos players scored in double figures. Santos' coach Manuel Cintron rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Gambusinos moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Correcaminos. Loser Santos dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Panteras and El Calor.
