Regular Season Round 6: Dorados - Diablos 90-110

Another exciting game was played in Chihuahua between fourth rankedDiablos and one of their biggest challengers Dorados where Diablos (5-1) crushed Dorados (4-2) on the road with 20-point difference 110-90 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dorados. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Diablos shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for forward Alphonso Anderson (198-1997, college: Pacific) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Michael Smith (193-1995, college: CBU) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-1986, college: Siena, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points and 7 assists in the effort for Dorados. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Diablos moved-up to second place, which they share with Mineros. Dorados at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Fuerza Regia.
