Not a big story in a game when 6th rankedCorrecaminos (3-4) were outscored by leader Soles (6-0) in Mexicali 102-74 on Wednesday. Soles had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Connor Zinaich (201-1997, college: Nova SE) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Soles players scored in double figures. Soles' coach Silvio Santander felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games. The former international Gabriel Vazquez (206-1994) came up with 26 points and American guard Alphonso Willis (188-1998, college: A&M-Commerce) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Correcaminos in the defeat. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Soles . They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Loser Correcaminos dropped to the seventh position with four games lost.
