No shocking result in a game when second rankedMineros (5-1) crushed 9th ranked Freseras (2-4) in Zacatecas 102-61 on Thursday. Mineros dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Freseras ' 18. Mineros looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Freseros ' players. The winners were led by American guard Isaac Hamilton (196-1994, college: UCLA) who scored that evening 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and Argentinian point guard Joaquin Valinotti (185-1998) supported him with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Five Mineros players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 4 assists by Serbian guard Marko Lukic (201-1999, college: Denver, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Freseros . American swingman JP Moorman II (201-1998, college: UC Riverside, agency: Players Group) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mineros maintains second position with 5-1 record behind leader Soles, which they share with Diablos. Freseros lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with four games lost. They share the position with Halc.Xalapa.
