The game between fourth rankedDiablos (5-1) and 13th ranked Santos (1-5) in on Thursday ended with biggest points difference. Diablos outscored guests from San Luis Potosi 124-71 . Diablos made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Diablos outrebounded Santos 45-28 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Diablos looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The winners were led by American guard Daishon Smith (185-1995, college: ULM) who scored that evening 21 points and 7 assists and Venezuelan forward Michael Carrera (196-1993, college: S.Carolina, agency: BIG) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Even 17 points and 7 rebounds by American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) did not help to save the game for Santos . His fellow American import forward Markedric Bell (203-1999, college: PVAMU) added 15 points for the guests. Five Diablos and four Santos players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Diablos moved-up to second place, which they share with Mineros. Loser Santos dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Panteras and Abejas.
