Everything went according to plan in Aguascalientes where eighth rankedPanteras (5-7) outscored 12th ranked Correcaminos (3-9) 95-73 . Panteras outrebounded Correcaminos 49-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. Panteras players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The winners were led by American point guard Jaron Martin (178-1995, college: UC Irvine) who scored that evening 16 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and Senegalese center Serigne Barro (208-1995) supported him with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Four Panteras players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 8 assists by American point guard Roddy Peters (193-1995, college: Nicholls) did not help to save the game for Correcaminos . His fellow American import guard Taylor Johnson (193-1994, college: Dartmouth) added 5 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Panteras have a solid four-game winning streak.
