Rather predictable result in Ciudad Victoria where tenth rankedHalcones UV Xalapa (6-8) beat 12th ranked Correcaminos (3-11) 98-82 on Friday. Halc.Xalapa dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Correcaminos ' 38. They outrebounded Correcaminos 35-19 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Justin Bibbs (196-1996, college: Virginia Tech) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Argentinian-Italian point guard Fernando Zurbriggen (185-1997) chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds.
