The game between Top Four teams took place in Zacatecas. Second ranked hostMineros (12-4) defeated 3rd placed Diablos (12-4) 82-64 . Mineros outrebounded Diablos 49-37 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mineros players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Bahamas center Tavario Miller (203-1994, college: Texas A&M) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Isaac Hamilton (196-1994, college: UCLA) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Miller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Venezuelan forward Michael Carrera (196-1993, college: S.Carolina, agency: BIG) came up with 8 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Daishon Smith (185-1995, college: ULM) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Diablos in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mineros have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 12-4 record having just two points less than leader Soles, which they share with defeated Diablos.
