Rather predictable result in Guanajuato where ninth rankedGambusinos (7-9) defeated 11th ranked Abejas (4-10) 77-66 on Thursday. Gambusinos outrebounded Abejas 47-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Bryon Allen (192-1992, college: GMU) who scored 24 points. His fellow American import point guard Kwame Vaughn (190-1990, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian-American point guard Nikolas Tomsick (185-1991, college: Fort Lewis) who recorded 18 points and American power forward Makhi Mitchell (206-2000, college: Arkansas) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Gambusinos moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Panteras. Loser Abejas keep the eleventh position with ten games lost.
