The game between Top Four teams took place in Zacatecas. Second-best hostMineros (12-4) lost to third ranked Diablos (12-4) 92-85 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Mineros. Diablos made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Daishon Smith (185-1995, college: ULM) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Argentinian guard Luciano Gonzalez (194-1990) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Four Diablos players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Dexter McClanahan (193-1997, college: Nicholls) who recorded 21 points and 7 assists and American-Argentinian guard Romeao Ferguson (196-1997, college: Lipscomb) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Diablos moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Mineros.
