Regular Season Round 15: Abejas - Gambusinos 94-95

There was no surprise in Guanajuato where 11th rankedAbejas (4-10) were edged by ninth ranked Gambusinos (7-9) 95-94 on Friday. Gambusinos forced 19 Abejas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was guard Bryon Allen (192-1992, college: GMU) who scored 20 points and 7 assists. Tyree Robinson (196-1995, college: A&M-Commerce) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was center Dakota Quinn (206-1997, college: MNU) who recorded 26 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Makhi Mitchell (206-2000, college: Arkansas) added 18 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Five Gambusinos and four Abejas players scored in double figures. Gambusinos moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Panteras. Loser Abejas keep the eleventh position with ten games lost.
