Everything went according to plan in Chihuahua where sixth rankedDorados (13-9) beat 9th ranked El Calor (9-13) 83-77 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-1986, college: Siena, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Dorados' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Anthony Barber (188-1994, college: NC State) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and Argentinian swingman Martin Fernandez (195-1997) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four El Calor players scored in double figures. Dorados maintains sixth place with 13-9 record. Loser El Calor keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Correcaminos.
