There was no surprise in San Luis Potosi where 14th rankedFreseras (4-22) were defeated by twelfth ranked Santos (6-20) 87-69 on Thursday. American guard Jaire Grayer (196-1996, college: TCU) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Markedric Bell (203-1999, college: PVAMU) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Ukrainian forward Nikita Konstantynovskyi (208, college: Notre Dame) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American center Myles Carter (206-1997, college: Seattle) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Santos maintains twelfth position with 6-20 record.
