The game between third rankedDiablos (18-8) and 9th ranked Correcaminos (11-15) in on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Diablos outscored guests from Ciudad Victoria 114-84 . Diablos dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Correcaminos ' 42. They outrebounded Correcaminos 37-23 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Diablos' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Roddy Peters (193-1995, college: Nicholls) answered with 23 points and 4 assists and Costa Rican-Belizean Charles Garcia (204-1988, college: Seattle) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Correcaminos. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Diablos have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 18-8 record having five points less than leader Soles, which they share with Fuerza Regia. Correcaminos at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Panteras and El Calor.
