Not a big story in a game when 8th rankedPanteras (11-15) lost to fourth ranked Fuerza Regia (18-8) in Monterrey 91-104 on Sunday. Fuerza Regia made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Panteras ' players. It was a good game for Kosovan-American Scott Bamforth (188-1989, college: Weber St.) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). American guard Avry Holmes (185-1994, college: Clemson) contributed with 24 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Senegalese center Serigne Barro (208-1995) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American point guard Jaron Martin (178-1995, college: UC Irvine) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Panteras. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Fuerza Regia moved-up to third place, which they share with Diablos. Panteras lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 15 games lost.
