There was no surprise in Parral whereMineros were crushed by Ciudad 117-88 on Friday. Indios outrebounded Mineros 55-36 including a 46-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Naturalized American point guard Eric Garcia-Thompson (183-1994, college: Wofford) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Alejandro Villanueva-Lopez (199-1993) chipped in 23 points during the contest. American forward Donovan Gregory (196-2001, college: App State) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Francisco Rodriguez scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Five Indios and four Mineros players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
