The game in Parral was also quite interesting.Apaches (4-2) played at the court of Mineros (1-5). Apaches defeated Mineros 108-97 on Friday. Apaches looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) who led the winners and scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Daniel Bejarano (193-1991, college: Colorado St.) accounted for 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Five Apaches players scored in double figures. Forward Hal Heyward (200-1992, college: Columbus St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Ajang Aguek (201-2000, college: Lander) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Mineros in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
