Rather expected game in Chihuahua where 5th rankedFaraones (1-7) were crushed by second ranked Apaches (6-2) 127-77 on Friday. Apaches dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Faraones ' 30. Apaches forced 28 Faraones turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Raul Delgado (190-1991, college: MSU Denver) fired 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Panamanian-Chilean point guard Eugenio Luzcando Bocaz (190-1995, college: Idaho St.) chipped in 24 points and 5 steals. Five Apaches players scored in double figures. American Xavier White (203, college: Midland CC) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and Cristian Sanchez added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Apaches have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-2 record having four points less than leader Dorados. Faraones lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with seven games lost.
