Very important is a home loss of third rankedCiudad (3-4) against sixth ranked Mineros (2-6) on Saturday night. Host Ciudad was defeated by Mineros in a tough game in Ciudad Juarez 95-102 . Indios were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by South Sudanese guard Mareng Gatkuoth (196-1999, college: UT Tyler, agency: Interperformances) who scored that evening 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and American Marquis Holloway (186) supported him with 32 points and 5 rebounds. Mineros' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 27 points and 6 rebounds by American guard Joe French (196-2000, college: UAPB) did not help to save the game for Indios . Naturalized American guard Daniel Soto-Pozo (197-1991, college: HIU) added 15 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mineros moved-up to fifth place. Indios at the other side keep the third position with four games lost.
