Not a big story in a game in Chihuahua where 4th rankedSoles (3-5) were defeated by second ranked Apaches (6-2) 98-84 on Saturday. Apaches made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. American guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) fired 32 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The other American import guard Daniel Bejarano (193-1991, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Apaches' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Dominican forward Miguel Simon (203-1994, college: ASA CC) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and Panamanian Daniel Giron-Villarreal (192-1989) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Apaches and five Soles players scored in double figures. Apaches have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-2 record having four points less than leader Dorados. Loser Soles keep the fourth place with five games lost.
