Very important is a road loss of second rankedApaches (7-3) against fourth ranked Ciudad (4-5) on Friday night. Visiting Apaches were defeated by Ciudad in a tough game in Ciudad Juarez 93-98 . Indios made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game, while Apaches only scored six points from the stripe. Apaches were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Ukrainian forward Nikita Konstantynovskyi (208, college: Notre Dame) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Gregory Hammond (201-2001, college: S.Arkansas, agency: 0z Sports Agency) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Panamanian-Chilean point guard Eugenio Luzcando Bocaz (190-1995, college: Idaho St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and American guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) added 11 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Apaches. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Indios moved-up to third place, which they share with Soles. Apaches at the other side keep the second position with three games lost.
