There was a small surprise in Mazatlan where tenth rankedAngeles (2-4) beat 7th ranked Venados (2-4) 83-75 on Wednesday. The game was also dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard DaQuan Bracey (180-1997, college: La Tech) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists and power forward Jacob Calloway (203-1996, college: SUU) who added 21 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Clyde Trapp (193-1998, college: Charlotte) responded with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Tyree Robinson (196-1995, college: ETAMU, agency: Haylett Sports) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four Angeles and five Mazatlan players scored in double figures. Angeles moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Mazatlan and Hermosillo.
