Very expected game when 9th rankedCaballeros de Culiacan (1-3) was edged on the road by third ranked Frayles de Guasave (4-2) 95-92 on Wednesday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Frayles looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Saeed Nelson (188-1998, college: American) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and guard Sean Durugordon (198, college: ODU, agency: JCK Sports Group) who added 17 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) responded with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Brandon Porter (206-1999, college: CPP, agency: Starting 5) scored 23 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Frayles and five Culiacan players scored in double figures. Caballeros de Culiacan's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Frayles moved-up to second place, which they share with Tijuana and Obregon. Culiacan lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with three games lost.
