Regular Season Round 5: Obregon - Toros 95-100

Not a big story in a game when 4th placed Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (6-3) lost at home to first ranked Toros (6-3) 100-95 on Saturday. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) nailed 28 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winning side and Jamaican-American guard Rashad James (185-1990, college: Iona) accounted for 21 points. Five Toros players scored in double figures. American forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) came up with 32 points and 6 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Jaden House (193, college: URI) added 24 points respectively for Obregon in the defeat. Despite that victory Toros went down to second position due to points difference, which they share with Obregon. Toros will meet at home Tijuana (#5) in the next round. Obregon will play against Angeles in Ciudad de Mexico and hope to secure a win.
