The most exciting game of round 7 in the CIBACOPA took place in Nuevo Laredo. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd placedToros (6-4) to fourth ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (6-5) 62-61 on Wednesday evening. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for power forward Alex Williams (203-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Drew Buggs (190-1997, college: Winthrop) helped adding 6 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Damien Daniels (170-2000, college: ACU) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Despite that victory Tijuana went down to fifth position due to points difference. Toros at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost.
