Fourth-rankedDragonas (3-9) were very close to win a game against second ranked Mieleras (10-2) in Guanajuato. Mieleras managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72 . However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan-Cuban point guard Barbara Velasquez (168-2002) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and forward Montserrat Aguilar (181-1998, agency: Daggers Sports) who added 11 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and the former international power forward Rosaura Guardiola (180-1991, agency: Daggers Sports) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Dragonas at the other side keep the fourth place with nine games lost.
