There was a minor upset in Nuevo Laredo where one of their biggest challengersFrayles de Guasave (8-6) was defeated by sixth ranked Toros (7-5) 101-87 on Sunday. Toros made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) fired 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Chilean point guard Franco Ordenes (181-1992) chipped in 8 points and 8 assists. Toros' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American-South Sudanese forward Jay Pal (206-2000, college: SDSU, agency: JCK Sports Group) produced 23 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Saeed Nelson (188-1998, college: American) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Toros and five Frayles players scored in double figures. Toros moved-up to fourth place. Loser Frayles de Guasave keep the third position with six games lost.
