Rather expected game when 5th rankedToritas (1-13) were smashed by second ranked Mineras (10-4) in Zacatecas 60-41 on Sunday. The winners were led by American guard Adriana Chavez (170, college: St.Thomas, TX) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Paola Estrada (172-1993, agency: DC Sports) supported her with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Mineras' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 9 points and 12 rebounds by Yesica Vallejo did not help to save the game for Toritas . Stephanie Lopez added 9 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the guests. Mineras have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-4 record having just two point less than leader Mieleras. Toritas lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
