The game between closely ranked teams ended with third rankedFrayles de Guasave 's (9-7) road victory over one of their biggest challengers Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (10-6) 114-92 on Friday. Frayles shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 58.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American-South Sudanese forward Jay Pal (206-2000, college: SDSU, agency: JCK Sports Group) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and American point guard Saeed Nelson (188-1998, college: American) supported him with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds by American guard Davonte Gaines (201-2000, college: Providence) did not help to save the game for Obregon . His fellow American import guard Jaden House (193, college: URI) added 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Frayles and five Obregon players scored in double figures. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Despite that victory Frayles went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with Toros. Obregon lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with six games lost.
