The most surprising game was another loss of top-rankedTijuana Zonkeys (11-7) on the court of ninth ranked Caballeros de Culiacan on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Caballeros de Culiacan 91-83 . American players dominated the game. It was a good game for point guard Roddy Peters (193-1995, college: Nicholls) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Caballeros de Culiacan players scored in double figures. Guard Drew Buggs (190-1997, college: Winthrop) replied with 21 points and 9 assists and forward Perry Jones III (211-1991, college: Baylor) added 7 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Tijuana. Tijuana Zonkeys' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Caballeros de Culiacan have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Hermosillo. Tijuana at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost.
