LeadingMieleras (11-3) recorded its third loss in Guanajuato. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Dragonas (4-10) 60-58 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mieleras. Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Rachel Theriot (182-1994, college: Nebraska) accounted for 7 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international point guard Paola Beltran (164-1994) came up with 19 points and the former international point guard Abril Reyes (168-2002, agency: Daggers Sports) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Mieleras in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Dragonas maintains fourth place with 4-10 record. Defending champion Mieleras dropped to the second position with three games lost.
