We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th rankedRayos de Hermosillo (8-12) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (8-12) 91-87 on Saturday. Guaymas made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. American guard Gage Davis-McMurrin (195-1995, college: St.Cloud St.) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian guard Olumide Adelodun (196-2003, college: Niagara) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American forward Kiandre Gaddy (198-2001, college: Tarleton St., agency: BIG) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Cameron Gooden (182-1998, college: Utah Tech) scored 14 points and 5 assists. Four Guaymas and five Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Guaymas moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Hermosillo.
