Host Tijuana Zonkeys were defeated by Frayles de Guasave in a tough game in Tijuana 91-97 . It was a great evening for American swingman Melik Martin (198-1999, college: Drexel) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points. His fellow American import guard Jemerrio Jones (196-1995, college: NM State, agency: JCK Sports Group) helped adding 13 points and 12 rebounds. Five Frayles de Guasave players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Alex Williams (203-1993) with 22 points and 7 assists and Nigerian-American power forward TK Edogi (203-1994, college: Iona) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Frayles moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Angeles. Tijuana at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost.
