No shocking result in a game when third rankedHalcones de Ciudad Obregon (14-6) beat 7th ranked Toros (10-12) in Nuevo Laredo 99-90 on Wednesday. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Josh Perkins (191-1995, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. His fellow American import forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Five Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures. The former international Gabriel Giron (192-1988) came up with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Michael Myers (206-1992, college: UMES, agency: Diamond Sports) added 19 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Toros in the defeat. Toros' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Toros lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 12 games lost.
